Francisco Saavedra, M.D., Ph.D.

Francisco has a background in medicine (M.D.), including a residency in Family Medicine and a fellowship in Hospital Medicine. In addition, he completed a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) and Postdoctoral Fellowship in Biomedical Informatics at the University of Washington School of Medicine, supported by a prestigious grant from the National Institutes of Health–National Library of Medicine. He has 30 years of clinical and health information technology experience, including successful implementation and evaluation of EMR systems in the U.S. and Mexico. Currently, he is working on several projects in collaboration with University of Washington School of Medicine and other institutions both in the U.S. and abroad.
Robert Dickow, Ph.D.
Vice President for Development
Robert Dickow has over 30 years experience in software engineering. He has written applications for video hardware controllers, games and recreation, database and business applications, art installations, text editors, e-learning, audio and video, data realization, and many others. He has contributed to popular computing magazines. Since 1999 he has been a web software developer, both free-lance and as a staff member of Buffalo Girls Productions, Inc.
Dickow is also a published composer and professional instrumentalist with an abiding interest in electronic music. He has been a member of SEAMUS (Society for Electronic Music in the United States). His electronic compositions have been performed in Europe and the United States, and he composes music for independent and public television documentaries. Many of his works involve algorithmic conputer-generated music. Since his appointment in 1984 as Coordinator of Computer Instruction, Dickow has served on the faculty of the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho.
